Westfield Local Hero

We are excited to announce that our volunteer station manager Terecia Page was nominated as a Westfield Local Hero and is a top 6 finalist for Airport West.

Despite being a busy mum and undergoing cancer treatment, Terecia always shows up for meetings, her programs and events with a smile and a readiness to tackle anything, nothing is too much hassle for her.

Terecia say’s “Bacchus Marsh community radio helps to bring the community together, especially in difficult times like now”

Westfield Local Heroes are nominated and voted for by their communities, the three top finalists per Westfield centre each awarded a $10,000 grant for their affiliated organisation. If Terecia is successful, Bacchus Marsh Community Radio 98.5 FM will use the funds to go towards buying an outdoor broadcast van so we can attend even more events.
