Affects of COVID-19 on programming

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak some programming on Apple 98.5FM will be affected.

Elderly announcers and announcers with compromised immune systems and other health concerns may decide not to present their programs.

Some programs will be pre-recorded at announcer’s home rather than presented live. If you phone the station to make a request there may not be a presenter at the studio to answer your call

We are limiting the number of guests who come into our studio complex to reduce the risks of infection. Interviews will be conducted over-the-phone rather than live in the studio.

The Hour Of Power show featuring students from the Mambourin and Merrimu Special Schools will not be airing until further notice.

Outside broadcasts from community events may also be cancelled.

The start of the Ballarat Football-Netball League has been postponed.

We will endeavour to continue to inform and entertain our community during this time of uncertainty.

We apologise for these disruptions to our programming, but the health and safety of our presenters and members is paramount and are at the forefront of our decision making during this COVID-19 pandemic.
